Why visit Ndutu and Southern Serengeti?
Ndutu and the southern Serengeti short grass plains become important during the seasonal wildebeest calving period after rains encourage fresh grazing. The area may support large herds, newborn animals and increased predator activity during the relevant season. Outside this period, routes should move to current wildlife locations. Access and accommodation are strongly seasonal, and no birth or hunt can be guaranteed.
