Frequently asked questions
Find practical answers about designing an itinerary, group travel, quotations, booking steps, payments, transport and preparing for an agro-tour or wildlife safari.
Planning your journey
How to begin, customise and prepare for a Farmers Agro-Safaris itinerary.
Can you design a completely custom itinerary?
Yes. Share your dates, group size, interests, preferred pace, accommodation level and approximate budget. We can then assess a practical route and prepare a proposal for discussion.
How early should I start planning?
Earlier planning gives more choice, especially during popular wildlife seasons, school holidays and for larger groups. You can still enquire about shorter-notice travel and we will check what is realistically available.
Do you arrange trips for students, farmers and professional groups?
Yes. Tell us the group level, learning objectives, technical interests and preferred visit format so suitable farms, institutions, guides and accommodation can be considered.
Can agro-tourism and wildlife safari experiences be combined?
Yes. Many itineraries can combine farms, cultural visits, landscapes and wildlife areas, provided the travel times and number of days allow a comfortable route.
Quotations, bookings and payments
What happens after an enquiry and when a journey becomes confirmed.
Does sending an enquiry reserve accommodation or transport?
No. An enquiry starts the planning process. Services are only reserved or confirmed after availability, final terms and any required payment are agreed in writing.
What information is included in a quotation?
A quotation should explain the proposed itinerary, included services, important exclusions, accommodation basis, transport arrangement, payment schedule and any conditions that affect the price.
Why can a quoted price change before confirmation?
Supplier availability, exchange rates, park charges, transport costs and itinerary changes can affect the final amount. Any material change should be explained before you confirm.
Where can I read the cancellation and booking conditions?
The Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy pages explain the general principles. Your written quotation or booking confirmation may also contain trip-specific conditions from accommodation, transport or other suppliers.
Practical travel questions
Useful preparation points for transport, health, access and travel expectations.
Can you accommodate dietary, mobility or medical considerations?
Share relevant needs as early as possible. We will discuss what can reasonably be arranged with the proposed accommodation, transport and activity providers, but travellers should also seek appropriate medical advice where required.
Are wildlife sightings guaranteed?
No. Wildlife moves freely and sightings vary with season, weather, habitat and chance. Guides plan around local conditions, but specific species or behaviours cannot be guaranteed.
How do I know whether road travel or a flight is better?
The best method depends on distance, available time, group size, budget, road conditions, luggage and the nearest usable airstrip. We compare these factors when preparing the route.
What should I pack?
Packing depends on the season, regions, activities and baggage limits. After confirmation, request practical guidance for clothing, footwear, weather protection, farm visits, game drives and any light-aircraft sectors.
