Why visit Nyahururu and Thomson Falls?

Nyahururu is a highland stop between the Mount Kenya region and the Rift Valley. The route includes time at Thomson Falls for scenery, photography and a short walk before continuing toward Naivasha. The stop provides a useful break during the longer road journey and introduces the relationship between highland water systems, landscapes, farming and downstream communities.
