About this journey
This five day private safari explores two distinctive northern and central Kenya wildlife areas. Samburu provides dry country scenery, the Ewaso Ngiro River and opportunities to search for the Special Five. Ol Pejeta adds rhino conservation, Big Five habitats and conservation interpretation. Two nights are allocated to each main destination so the itinerary does not rely on a single short drive. Optional sanctuary, night drive, walking or community activities depend on availability, operating rules, age limits and the confirmed quotation. The package is entered without a fixed price because conservancy activities and accommodation choices materially affect the final cost.

Suggested itinerary
Nairobi to Samburu and Afternoon Wildlife Drive
Depart Nairobi early and travel north through the central highlands toward Samburu. Stop for comfort and landscape views, then continue to the selected lodge or camp for lunch. Begin an afternoon drive along riverine and dry country habitats. Search for elephants, reticulated giraffes, Grevy's zebras, gerenuk, Beisa oryx, Somali ostriches and predators.
Full Day Samburu Special Five Safari
Explore Samburu during morning and afternoon drives or a full day programme with a picnic lunch. Follow productive sections of the Ewaso Ngiro River and surrounding dry country. The guide interprets animal adaptations, river ecology and conservation challenges. A responsible community experience can be added only when confirmed separately.
Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Take a final morning drive in Samburu, return for breakfast and travel south toward the Laikipia Plateau. Arrive at Ol Pejeta for lunch or an afternoon game drive according to timing. Search for rhinos, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, antelope and predators while learning about the conservancy model.
Full Day Ol Pejeta Wildlife and Conservation
Spend the day exploring the conservancy. The programme may include game drives, rhino conservation interpretation and a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary when open and compatible with animal welfare operations. Optional night drives or guided activities require separate confirmation. Return to the accommodation for dinner.
Ol Pejeta Morning Drive and Return to Nairobi
Begin with a final early wildlife drive, then return for breakfast and check out. Travel toward Nairobi with lunch and comfort stops. End at a confirmed city hotel or the airport. An additional Nairobi night may be recommended for an early international departure.
