About this journey
This ten day itinerary gives a balanced introduction to Kenya and Tanzania. It begins with rhinoceros and birdlife at Lake Nakuru, provides three nights in Maasai Mara, crosses into central Serengeti and finishes through Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. The schedule is less hurried than the short cross border routes and gives two complete wildlife days in both major plains ecosystems. Accommodation can be upgraded without changing the route.
